uplink help?

I tried a search and didn't find a thread..

How do I attachthe transponder? I think i've pixel hunted the entire room after the Underprince and no such luck anywhere..

Unless the transponder is an item that sits in my inventory I'm supposed to be given.. in which case Dev/Nul has cheated me twice (i replayed from the end of the setite temple in case I missed something)

any help or specific instructions would be greatly appreciated.. the walkthroughs i've looked up just tell you to attach it.. but.. that doesn't help me.. I think i'm just overlooking something obvious but.. I'm stuck..

There's no trick to attaching it. Just beyond where you fight the Underprince there should be an FBI communication box that you attach it to. It's FBI CC Line #204. It should be a box that's in the tunnel with the lift up to the downtown area.

It's not in the room just after the Underprince, but in the short section of sewers after that room - you should see the lift there.
