need help with console

i have been looking for cheats for vtm redemption and all that i have found give the same console command. The problem is is that they dont tell you how to input the command to start the game any help on thiis issue would be great. Also if any one has a cheat for earning money would be good also.

Press ~ in single player mode to display the console window

i have tried pressing the ~ key in the game and it doesnt bring up the console. i cant even figure out how to do the c:\programs\vampire\ect - console command it doesnt work on my system from the run command.

You have to make an adjustment in your gamedirectory first.

Example C:\Vampire\vampire.exe -console

So whatever's behind the "exe" now, replace it with "console", then you should be able to execute your commands.

didnt work... even in the desktop icon, i tryed to change to vampire.exe - console and the windows doesnt accept this type of command

Well, that's how i did it, the one time i wanted to use cheats in my game. Try Googling for answers, and you'll see that it's the only way to do it.
