Help - Fragment of Nod

hi.
i just started playing VTM-R and i've fought and vanquished Mercurio 4 times now and picked up the Fragment of Nod, but it doesn't appear in my inventory. needless to say, when i return to the university haven, no one is there. i'm stuck. help!

I can't recall if it actually shows up in your inventory, per se. Regardless, are you sure Encatrina isn't in the University? She won't be in your "haven", but in the library area where you initially met her.

If this doesn't work, I'm wondering if you could use the cheat console to spawn it into your inventory. I've not played with that much, but you might be able to find some information about it elsewhere in the web or some old posts on this forum.

Yep, it should be visible in your inventory, it's a brown book if i recall correctly. Maybe it's just a bug, try visiting Ecatarina in the library as stated above, maybe nothing's wrong. Otherwise, try patching your game.

In this particular mission, you need to go rest to your haven before reporting to Ecaterina. It's for the plot purposes, so you can so you can have the dream of Anezka

I had a shock like that, too. Turns out they'd moved over into that alcove on the right. Totally missed seeing them.

I dont recall it being in the inventory you should try to speak to her after killing him.
Just like when she gives you a goblet of her blood, it doesnt show up either, as I recall only player usable items appear in inventory.
