Unhappy Help.. Crash

I recently bought the game and installed it. It keeps crashing though. I can play the game for like 15 minutes and then it crashes so I gotta exit and restart. It's damn annoying and I guess it's not supposed to be that way. But otherwise it works fine this far (silvermines), so you know any patch or something I can install to avoid the crashes?
I've installed patch 1.1 but still..

So your are saying even with 1.1 you get crashes?
If so you need to post what video and sound card/biultin chip your using and which drivers to start with.

Yeah i'm using NVIDIA Geforce 6800 GT and soundcard SB Audigy 2ZS.
I checked the cover for vtmr and it says the game may not be playable on Windows Xp which I have. Is it possible to play it then?

Do you know howto set Compatiblity Mode?
On your desktop shortcut, right click, choose Properties, then choose Compatiblity Tab, check Compatiblity, select down down menu and select Win 98 mode.
Click Ok to close and should work fine, mine runs great in XP with Win98 Compatiblity Mode.
Good Luck.
