One of the things I found creepy about the game was the fact that when my Malkavian walked around while Obfuscated, I could hear voices whispering from just beyond the veil... Wasn't really scary, but it did run a tingle down my spine.

Whenever you're hearing whispers in the game when you're supposed to be alone... that always kinda creeped me out.

I can draw zombies pretty well, too, by the way, and there is something inherently scary about them, but the fact that I didn't even need to shoot 'em in the head to kill them took out some of the fun. Especially when I had killed them all once, because after that, they'd only ever come into the room one at a time. "Fighting for your life" against one zombie that you can kill with one shot just isn't scary.

The only thing I thought was wierd or creepy was when VV went OOOOOHHH!!! loudly when I first met her. I was like... WTF was that! I didn't know if she was being serious or what. Someone upload that sound and you'll see what I mean if you guys don't remember. She's a wierd chick... nice girl and hot as hell, but wierd.

The atmosphere of VTMB was intense... the music for the Ocean House/Malkavian mansion was creepy as, and both those places creeped me out a little. The Ocean House was straight out of the old-time horror movies. The Malkavian house was just disturbing with all of it's inhabitants just standing there, sobbing.

The first time I ran into the Tzimicze creatures was pretty damn scary as well.

Oh, and the graveyard HAD potential... in fact the first time I entered it I had my axe out, waiting for something to run screaming out of the dark at me... but I found the zombie-battle far too frustrating and difficult to be scary.

And how can I forget McGee's studios! I knew instantly that there was something weird about that dude... and following him further and further into his dingy basement until he suddenly attacks you with a severed arm... man!

1. Hospital - not pleasant, but not big league stuff
2. Ocean House - makes me jump at times - I play it with the sound off and it is nowhere near as startling.
3. graveyard/mausoleum - made me jittery, but routine once you've been through a couple of times
4. nossie tunnels - a bit peculiar, not too bad
5. Kings - the house still makes me jump, even though I am expecting it.

TBH none of them is as scary as the Orphanage in Thief III - Thief has scarier levels in every game - there is the madness, the undead and the risk that your character will be killed with hardly a chance to get away. The undead Hammerites and the flaky tree-huggers are pretty creepy. ocean house has some of the same fear-factor, but because VtM is an action game in which the PC has a chance in any toe-to-toe fight, it is less scary than Thief where the PC is more vulnerable.

sound has a major influence on the fear level as it what is left when there is no light.

Zombies...BAH!!!!

Well I have played through the game a few times and seen alot and i mean ALOT of glitches...those kinda scare me in the game. When playing though the crack house i jumped a lil when the first zombie growled but the i hit it in the torso with a baseball bat and it when flying. I turned it into a sport with a friend of mine.

The werewolf scares me the most. Your creeping thinking you got away from it then...it jumps through the wall and tackles you. Now thats scary.

Vampires are push overs...

Humans are kinda funny...

Ghosts are transparent...It's like you can see right through them...hahaha(lame joke)

Ming is creepy...but it might be cuz she turns into a squid thingy

Those monster things are annoying...there mostly gross

Well thats the word of gonin

peace
