I already read the walkthrough for the main quest in santa monica called 'The Ghost Haunts at Midnight'. It says something about reading a diary and then the next paragraph says about a pendant. Does anybody know if the diary IS the pendant?

No its not, and if you scroll down the main forums page you will find a forum that is specifically for Bloodlines. If you search that forum you should find some help
