Vampire Hunter

I started the game as a Toreador and noticed that alot of the beginning vampires kicked my ass. (I'm going ranged) So I intentionally broke the masquerade to 3 masks and got the Torch, which was awesome. THe female hunter with a torch can be killed without losing humanity. I decided to push my luck and got to 2 masks and lo and behold another hunter shows up beside the female one with a crossbow. BUT this hunter can't be killed without the loss of humanity? To add to the suckiness, I got back up to 3 masks by doing the werewolf blood quest but the second hunter with the crossbow didn't go away..
Anyone know if there's a way to get them to go away? (Besides not brekaing the masquerade in the first place)

Oh, and no there any long term effects of brekaing the masquerade?
I'm enjoying selling the extra weaponry for money which I'm going to need to buy ammo in the future.

I never reallly break the Masqurade so I am not sure I can help.

Do you mean the Hunters will spawn everytime you enter a level and you want that to stop, or at least the crossbow Hunter?

No, I don't think that is possible.
Also, not sure why you are getting a Humanity hit for killing a Hunter unless you are killing him in public view.
If you are violating it to get more Hunters to get weapons, then the only way I can think of is do more Redemption points.

Either way. But really I want the crossbow guy to stop because of the humanity loss.. I've tried entering and leaving buildings but i doesn't work.. I don't want to become a frenzy machine.. especially since I took rapacious bloodlust history to make the beginning of the game easier.. AND as a toreador I want to sell those torches for money

The Vampire Hunters will keep coming until you get sufficient Masquerade Redemptions to stop them. Just avoid the areas where they appear - they always spawn in the same places in each area and are really easy to avoid completely.

Do you mean I have to get back up to 5 masks? I tried going from 3 masks to 4 masks and the vampire hunter with the torch still showed up.. I'm in the beginning so I can't really go from 3 to 5 masks..

There are loads of places to get redemption points. I think you do need to get back up to 5 to stop them. If you are in the beginning, just avoid the alleys behind the Asylum and use the car park to get to the second street and you should be able to avoid them.
