Having trouble moving the bar to unlock the double doors in the room with the water churner thingy, i pressed the action key but it just wont do anything?

You shouldn't have to press the action key - just walk against the bar and it should move, but it frequently doesn't. There have been many threads on this. Short version:

1) Set yourself up exactly where you would be before you started moving the bar, save game, exit game, start game, restore, and try pushing. Sometimes that works.

2) Put yourself in cheat mode and noclip yourself through the door. That always works.

I don't want to critizise the creator of this thread, but that question has been asked so many times now, it might be a good idea to pick one of the more detailed threads about the topic (or create a short how-to) and make it a sticky in order to prevent further "how do I open that door"-threads ;-)

1) I agree, they should have checked search.

2) I would have caught that, if I wasn't in a pre-move frenzy.

3) Almost nobody reads stickies. I don't know why. It's probably hard-wired into the human brain.
