Stuck In the Society of Leopold

I was wondering if anyone else was having this problem...

I have gotten to the very end of this mission, I saved Ash and beat the slayer and now the professor and I are running to the boat. But every time I get to the boat my computer shuts down, right in the middle of loading the next screen. I was wondering if someone could recommend a patch or any tweaking I could do to get past this one little part. Please help I’m dying to beat this game.

yeah used to happen me aswell. i think the latest patch fixes it.

If you don't have it already, make sure to install the latest official patch (1.2). The unofficial patch also attempts to solve the issue with crashing in that encounter. All the patches can be downloaded here. Good luck.

Edit. The site I linked seems to be down at present. If you experience a problem connecting to it, then I would check back a little later today.
