Exclamation sound problem

hi,

when i installed the game yesterday everything was fine but when i started playing the game today, it started but no sound! why is that?

Is this happening even after the opening video sequence (i.e. with the Prince lecturing)? I sometimes have problem with audio skipping during that segment, but things balance out after its over.

Personally, I'd take a look at your settings (under options) to make sure nothing has accidently been turned off. You might try playing around with them if nothing else works. Also, make sure that you've patched the game (brought it up to at least the official patch 1.2, you can find links for the downloads in the directory sticky on this page). If you're still having no luck and your drivers are all up to date, I'd probably encourage you to just uninstall/restart/reinstall the game. Sometimes something unexpected goes wrong in installation.

If all else fails, you can still turn subtitles on (under options) to where you can read the dialogue.....

Exclamation sound problem

its like this from the start even when it brings the bear and the nvidia icons before the game even start.

i will try to see what you have told me to do and thanks.

It may be a driver issue, as well. You've probably done this already, but make sure you have the latest drivers for your video and sound card.
