smoke shop

There is a smoke shop in Santa Monica (I think!) Is it there for anything or just to look good? Also, what is the point of the apartment on the first floor of the building where we live? You can lock pick it but there's nothing there!

It's prolly an apartment owned by the prince that is used as a haven for vampires... It wouldn't pay to have people next door comming over, or the land lord, during teh day while your curled up in the shower.

No point to either, basically. They are mainly there to add further color to the environement. I half wonder if the Smoke Shop was originally for a quest that was not finished. But, that's just conjecture.
