Unhappy Problems with lagging/slow etc.

Ok, so I have had this game for quite awhile now, and I really enjoy it. BUT, at first when I installed it, my PC was sure able to run it though very slow and combat was a real pain in the *ss. However I decided to beef up the old Pentium 4, I added a radeon sapphire x1600 graphics card and 1gb + of RAM, huge hard drive. Still the game lag to the extreme, even with the lowest graphical settings. FEAR and almost any other game works fine.Any suggestions what the problem may be and how to solve it?

Thanks
J

Oh, and my keyboard also seem to lock itself from time to time, making my vampire continue to move although I have released the key. Anyone else had this problem?

Try Win98 compability mode or setting the vampire.exe process priority lower in the task manager.
