Hi all, just making a intro for myself and asking a question of VTM, bloodlines but first I should probably share my two cents of the game (might contain spoilers >_<)
My first time playing I played as a female gangrel (picked by answering questions for not really knowing the difference) so I finished the game after 5 days and did most of the sidequests (though failed some like giving the pendant to Jeanette, not giving mercurio morphine and also lost some humanity like draining people dry or killing some instead of sneaking so lost some exp there too >_<) but it was fairly easy (gangrel with high melee and sneaking: easy game
) and the end I finished the game with maximillum straus and the camarilla.
Though some stuff was annoying like hell. Society of leopold quest that crashed after escaping was the biggest one. Even thought my cd was broke or something bad >_< was glad to see it was just a bug
My second time playing (male malkavian: I just love their speech and demention is so funny) I did all side quests and this time I finished it with the anarchs. I was also shocked to find out about your own ghoul heather
Third time I played as a female tremere and I teched rapidly to Seduction, Intimidate and Persuasion so imaging to my shock that you could let Therese and Jeanette co-exist with eachother.
and now I'm playing it as a female Brujah.
Well that's my introduction and I hope I havn't bored you guys yet but now I should probably ask my question ^^'
in the early beginning you can either pick up a newspaper or go to the beach and trigger the quest Carnival of Death. I know what do to for this quest and all so I'm not asking anything for that but by searching on the net to see if I have not missed anything important or sidequests (is how I found this forum btw

as you can see that's a Bloodguard just like the one in the museum and he's at the place where you find the body at the beach. So my question is how do you trigger this and how do you get past the gate?

) besides I've found out you do more damage with melee than guns (might again be aiming >_<) the only time I used guns was helping ash with his problem (didn't have enough points to let the guy give me his clothes so had to escape and kill the hunters)
