is it possible to complete the level by killing all the gaurds near the security office in the basement cos I just can't get passed the security cameras. I get spotted every time.

It is possible. I cleared out nearlly the whole building doing that quest. I just was i a bad mood. Any way at the end of that quest youll have to kill some one any way.

There's probably a way, and I was close to discovering it. There's a ventilation duct that opens right into the security office, so you might be able to take that guard out and then shut down the cameras. I tried, but I was little too low on the hacking feat.

The good news: the Prince will be so upset about the sarcophagus situation that he doesn't even ask if you killed anybody.

You can get through the level by slaughtering everyone (will even show up on the news), however you lose out on the 2 extra exp points. That's the only real penalty.

However, one thing to keep in mind, setting off the alarm and getting spotted doesn't matter too much. You can use disciplines to distract, outrun, or paralyze guards, and you'll still get the exp if you don't kill any of them. I've had to do that a couple times, when I just couldn't get the timing right.

Since you haven't clearly stated what you're problem is there are several options.
1) You can't get past the first camera
2) You can't get past guard guarding the computer cotrolling the cameras
3) You can't hack the computer.

1) this is basically a timing problem. When the camera goes to check the other corridor walk upto it and crouch beneath it. Then when it turns back open the door to the security office and hack the computer.
You do need a decent sneak skill (I typically have 5 at this point and boost if needed to 8 by blood buff) and a hacking skill of 5 or 6.
So you can end up with the problems of 2) and 3). If that is the case just run, ignore the the guards, just go for the goal you have and hope that you can dodge better then they can shoot.
Also if you cannot hack the systems you HAVE to kill at least one of the guards, so why not take out the entire crew then.

Or if you're the reincarnation of Buffalo Bill, just shoot the danged camera. Sure, the guards will hear, but they may not react in time before you can runn off and hide.

You could shoot the cameras out with a gun even though you will bring attention to yourself. I am guessing the best way for this would be to crouch down and fire when the cops are the ferthest or the most distance between you and them. This is just a hint if any. Good luck Kine. :-)]>
