Is unofficial 2.6 worth patching onto Vanilla?

I looked threw the readme and found this some not fixed bug area and its some what off puting and wanted to know how aggravating or detrimental these are to the game if i had 2.6 on?

At the present moment im playing 1.2 offocial and been thinking about the unofficials but some of the things like below look ofputing especialy if say you dont get a reward threw your mailbox...

Any advice would be nice

Side note:- just bought the game yesterday or the day before and im having a blast atm

Well....I played the game through with 1.2, but there are so many bugs that could happen especially with some of the sidequests.....so you better make a lot of save games, reloading the game helps with some of them.

My advice...try the game with one of the latest unoffical patches if you wanna get rid off the most depressing bugs, don't know about 2.7, but I think 2.6 worked fine.

The list you quoted, is all that is leftover from what the the original 1.2 patch couldn't solve...

Ah nice, so how do you set to skip intro screen? as i cant find the option to do so

The skip intro option should be a checkbox on your character sheet at character creation. It makes the game skip the intro movie. It's only available if you have a game saved. Otherwise, the game thinks you haven't seen the intro yet and forces you to watch it.

Ah ok i see, ty very much, now i dont have to watch threw the movie again lol so laborius especialy when making a new characters!

thanks again to you both, im running 2.6 atm so should be ok and have no problems, i think ill let 2.7 have its bugs worked out first before anything like that in the future.
