Help please! "Out of range"

When I start Vampire: Bloodlines, my screen goes black and something pops up saying something about "out of range h: *number* hkz".. or something like that..

My graphic card is supported, I have enough ram and everything, what's wrong?

It's probably just an installation error. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling it?

Yes, I have.. When I start the problem occurs but if I alt + tab out then go back in you can see the intro, but when that is over it comes back again..
I believe the resolution in-game is too big for my screen, but how do I change it out of game?

Could you by any chance post *precisely* what it says? What I'm looking at here is a memory corruption error if it's even a little bit accurate. If that's the case the problem might hardware, OS, a whole bunch of things unrelated to the game.

^^

Either your graphic cards have been taking some damage or its not entirely plugged in to your screen.,

Ive had the same thing, it worked after Ive restarted my computer.

Though I did notice one big thing:

It only worked if Vampire was the FIRST game I started on my computer after ive restarted it properly. Try that, no other full-screen program and no other game may be started before vampire, that should do it. If not, try the same thing and pull out the network cable and start again.
If that doesn't work, the graphic card has taken too much damage.
