HELP! - Ming Must Die! Quest

I am in the temple where Ming resides. I have made it to the room with the waterwheel and there is a door that is held shut with a sliding 2x4 witha handle on one end. I understand that this has to be moved in order to open the door. An icon of a person pushing even appears when I look at the board. My question is, why won't it move?!?!? I've tried pushing on it, using the Use Key, everything! Is it just me?! Why won't this thing open? Thanks for any help! (This has got to be the worst question posted hahaha)

Yes indeed. Especially since this question has been asked, oh, a dozen times before.
Best use the search function before posting next time.
But since I'm a kind person:
a. You need to have your character walk/run against the part that sticks out (the handle) to move the wooden bolt.
b. If it doesn't work, save&reload untill it does.
c. If that doesn't work, pray or curse, and reinstall.

EDIT: oh and if Fable, or another kind mod, could close this thread so it can quietly sink away from the board.
