Anyone notice the magazine subscription on the coffee table? Hooker and the main article is called 10 Easy steps to increase your hourly earnings. Hahaha | The Tremere haven is quite nice, as well. The main advantage the downtown haven has over it, is that there is a paper outside of your door step in that haven. Alternatively, you don't have to mess with the confounded elevator in the Tremere haven and there is a nice little bonus suprise waiting for you in that room.
The Nosferatu haven is the worst. It's actually a step down from the Santa Monica haven (which at least had a working tv in it), and you get it really late in the game. I'm not sure what the developers were thinking in not giving it more "perks." |

Since you have no control over the Hollowbrook incident, I failed to see how the Sabbat thought killing her would aid them in killing me. If anything her death brought about a very painful one for all of them as I struck down everyone including their own stupid ghouls. And mister bad ass in the end, well he met the real bad ass
Well I had a blast killing all the Tong but when Kiki got her attitude on me, I told her I would kill her if she didn't shut up... that did the trick. I found it fun just to to after Johnny and then the other guy trying to use experiements on me.
I still like the haven the Prince gives you best. I've seen them all other then for the one Gary gives you if your a Nosferatu. |

| | | There is a certain element in society that preys on another element - the one that, when severely aggrieved, drops into a pit of sorrow. They seldom ever encounter those like us...the ones who, severely aggrieved, drop into the silent, cold rage that will bear no surcease, and is the deadliest of all emotions. The makers of the Hollowbrook Hotel scene were banking on the former. At least twice, they encountered the latter. Tres Bummer .

| | | annoyance I get so narked at the Sabbat, that after the cut scene, I take them on unarmed and rip them to pieces. Mr T at the end just gets fried as I don't care to soil my hands with his innards.
(it is a shame that there is no opportunity to rescue her - with celerity 5 and area-effect powers, I might have succeeded. you don't run out on your ghoul if you're an Anarch - your relationships with those that you arbitrarily decide are on your side should mean something.
BTW - ALWAYS pick up the flamethrower during the mission - it is in one of the rooms on the same side of the corridor as the T-blade. There are also 3 Killmatics on the floor in a corner room which come in handy to waste that SOB.
the cut scene shows her dying as an art student - not as a goth. they even make her change her appearance. maybe it is Heather's twin sister...
I did have a time with two Heathers - one in Santa Monica, the other in downtown. both disappeared after Hallowbrook though.

| | | Getting the downtown haven? I started to replay the game a few weeks ago, this time I chose to play as a gangrel. I did several downtown quests but the prince still wouldn't give me the new haven. Then by accident I didn't play for a few days. When I returned I noticed that all the latest game savings had been mysteriously lost which has never happened to me before. New glitch or? Anyway, I had to to replay quite a bit, suddenly found myself back to the warehouse in Santa Monica. In a way I'm kinda grateful for this because this time I managed to get the haven. The main difference this time was that I kissed his behind, something I didn't do some days before. Don't reveal any sympathies towards the Anarchs when you speak with Lacroix. Don't speak against him in general. Feed him with what you think hewants to hear. Although I really hate this guy, it's worth it just to get away from that Santa Monica dump. The Tremer haven is pretty neat too. Not as nice as the one in Skyline but way better than the dump. Never played as nossie yet so I can't tell you what that looks like. Something like Gary's or Imalia's I guess. |

| | | I'm playing a new round VTM:Bloodlines with a malkavian and although I was pretty happy with my tremere haven before, I would love to get the downtown haven now, because it must be looking better than the Santa Monica one anyway. Playing with wesps unofficial patches, after which quest does LaCroix offer it to me? I'm finished with the Elizabeth Dane now and stopped for asking here, tried to be nice to the lil french chairman, although it's hard to resist as a malk.
P.S.: I had to hit officer Anderson with my knife just once, because he blocked my way and I could not get past him, I did not kill him of course, just drove him a lil backwards, hurting any of the cops is not forbidden as long as they stay alive, right? LaCroix did not refer to it as well.
EDIT: I reloaded today and got my skyline apartments haven right after the Dane quest, seems that I did not get it the first time because I refused once to take the Grout task before I accepted.
