Jeanette is extremly hot I would love to see the full scene and not some dark black screen with some noise. I mean the game leads up to it all the time. Take the first scene for instance open condom packs? clothes everywhere? and Jeanette she almost falls out of her little shirt 8) so why try to bring it all the time and then cut it out?

I think a distinction must be made between the ambulatory 'dead' i.e. "undead" with consciousnesses - such as Vamps and sophisticated mummies, as opposed to the dead dead (i.e. real life and "final-death" dead).

Jeanette may be technically "dead" from a living person's POV, but she has her second life in which she is twice as much alive as most people.

the game is rated 18 in the UK, so it is permissible for it to involve adult content without unnecessary censorship and let's be honest - the plot lines are not juvenile at all - I can't recall a (computer) game that I have played
that has more adult themes. saying that, and with the game being unavailable to sub-18s, this site should allow more to pass uncensored.

Had I been using the other sense of the word, I reckon that discussing an 18 rated game (M is the US term I believe) that sense should be allowed too.

I don't know about you, but I find having sex with a motoinless dead body thats just rotting a LOT less creepy then one thats cold, heartless, dead, blood hungry and pretending to be like me and have human feelings and enjoy this mortal "sex" I speak of.

Movies for LOTS of years have presented Vampries as sexual creatures... Usualy some dominating male figure with mystical powers that impossable for a woman to resist, resulting in many a giggly young girl having the fantasy of submiting to his will and falling weak into his arms.. Oohhh! Or vis versa, the strong woman whos totaly in control and has a strange hold on you that you can't fight, leading many an unshaved young lad to distraction as he imagines falling prey to such a woman, ohh yeah!
But in my mind, NOTHING ruins sex more then the thought that, at any second, the woman I'm having sex with might grow tired of my mortality and end it with a casual twist of her wrist.. Or might decide shes finished now, and drain me till I'm a pale white, empty husk, leaking bodily fluids over her nie clean sheets as I'm casualy pushed aside so she can have a smoke and a nap.
But hey, if you guys really WANNA see cold, ashy, lifeless specters of death bumping uglies, theres prolly something on the net devoted to it.

Meanwhile, I gotta agree about the sex censore ship thing. I'd rather kids thought it was okay to have consenting, casual sex then I would them growing up to think it was okay to decide that you want a brief case, so cutting a bloody swath through a local street gang with a fire axe is the way to go. If the streets were full of random acts of sex rather then violence, I'd take much longer walks at night... Heck, I'd wander into dark alleys if I thought some woman might leap out of the darkness and say "Alright mate, pants off and push me over that garbage can now!".. I wouldn't even report her to the police.

you all focus on jennet and ignore the fact that you can bump uglies with romero as well. of course I'm a chick and play one in the game. as a longtime gamer of the v:tm paper and pencil ive always been fond of malks, and took the oportunity to play one immideatly, I love the answere you can give when Romero hits on you, "I could slick my parts with blood and let you grind against my corps." Vampires have no interest in sex when the kiss is so much more pleasurable. when I was 14 and had just started playing, I asked a storyteller if I could feed of my own wrist as a form of vampiric masturbation... maybe this explaines the shrink my parents made me see.....

Also, I'm disapointed that you can only seduce women, fable gives you the option of marring men, why cant you seduce men in the world of darkness? after all isn't if full of adroginouse goth boys wearing skirts and dancing to Chiasm?

I mean, whos pants are you trying to get into? The Prince? I know there are plenty of men who you can USE seduction on... Beckett, The resturant critic, the guy with the watch and cash at the very start of the game... But Beckett's a vampire and not crazy as a cut snake like SOME sex fiend vampires, the resturant guy... Well I think the seduction there is more of the "Butter him up good" kind, rather then the "bump uglies" kind. And the guy with the watch and money isn't gay, but turns out he tastes great!
However, I'm 90% sure that guy who sells you blood is gay. I dunno why, he just came across as gay to me.

I haven't finished the game yet but, speaking of seduction, can you diablorize any of the vampires? All the ones I think are worth doing that to are always in Elyssium..... Without sedeucing them I can't think of a way to get at em.

In fact, I havent even found a vampire you can feed from, let alone guzzle the soul of. I remember the first vampire computer game had feeding from vampiers and option.. It was basicaly how I beat the game, but even thou you drained them to the point of ash, you never actauly diabed them.
Prolly for the best. Your character, after all, knows nothign about such secrets, and the Elders sure aren't about to tell you are they??

No one's saying the social standards of violence and sex make any sense, Shodan. My own feelings about a society which censors nudity but allows violence every night on endless tv shows is that it's, to quote a recent thread in SYM (Speak Your Mind), "sick, sick, sick." But we are a for-all-ages website. We are in the US. We can't afford to have complaints going to our server. The site owner's rules protect the board. You can only seduce jeanette if therese dies. Except for experience point differences who lives or dies has no effect on the main plot.

i played the game again with a Tremere because I was curious about this scene..
in order to seduce Jeanette you have to
-choose the seduction answers from the beginning
-make Jeanette kill Therese

-come back after the Elisabeth Dane quest and say "are you alone?"

I don't think it is necessary to give her the pendant..

Its a nice easteregg, but not really worth seeing. The screen turns totallly black, you her a few moans from Jeanette and then she stands in the room as before. Thats all

imo the producers have been too lazy to animate some moves..

Well, my Brujah is having a pretty heavy relationship with Jeanette, having been with her 5 times, and still havent compleated Chinatown yet.

1. The black screen is pretty dull, I would have perfered a more realistic encounter like it should be. Kindred gain pleasure from feeding, and when two get together, they will feed from each other at the same time (not that they cant do it the old way, and some do). I would have been happier if the sceen went like this: The two would embrace and then feed on each other as the screen goes to black. Would have cooler and more accurate.

2. I have also noticed the last couple of times, and more pronounced this time, that I hear growling near Jeanette (not from her, but close). After playing through twice already, I have started to notice little things (like watching a movie over again, and again, and again). I'm sure that Bertram, SM's local sewer rat and Jeanette's other, is in the room. I wonder if I keep coming back and keep messing with Jeanette, he will show himself? Could be a fun little surprise.

Anyone else run into this?
