Gargoyle Removal Service

Ok, i browsed the forum for awhile be4 posting this, and i didn`t find any1 talking about this so here goes:

(Playing as Tremere):

1)Took the quest from Isaac
2)Went to Strauss and took the Talisman from him
3)Killed Gargoyle
4)Went directly to Strauss and told him the Gargoyle is now a pile of rubble and accepted to become a part of the pyramid (at this point the quest had been set to complete)
5)Went to Isaac afterward and told him the Gargoyle is dead (at this point, the quest went from complete status back in my incomplete quests log)

And now i can`t get the darn quest to be set to complete...

Someone help please? It`s not an earth-shattering bug, but nonetheless that quest annoys the hell outta me when i know i completed it and yet it stays there in the quest log like a thorn in my side

I fixed this in my patches by not allowing you to rat out Strauss if you live in his chantry because otherwise you would loose your new haven and thus any way to receive emails and the side quests connected to them.

Wouldn't it be better to let you talk to Isaac, and if you do that put the computer back in the SM haven? (or not take it out at all)

You can't have two haven computers active at the same time and do you really think Strauss would set up your old haven for you after your betrayal? You would also loose all items stored in the chantry...
