What a great thing a Gamma Setting is

THANKS FOR THE CLUE ! I didn't know what gamma was, so I didn't touch it. I've been fumbling around this game for a while now in the dark

I CAN SEE I CAN SEE!!!

Parts of it seem dark, regardless of what you do. It's an ambiance thing, I suppose. The only ways I know of to change the brightness is to adjust gamma. Turning shadows off can help some, as well. Outside of that, I'm not sure if there is anything else you can do to fix the issue.

semi-spoiler

The part that always got me, was finding the boat on the Santa Monica Beach. I must have looked for that thing for a half hour, before I realized it was just hidden in the darkness...

Same. I thought the boat was supposed to be on the pier and only I realised that it was in the water when I bumped into it.
