| | | Favoite Clan? What are you guys favoite clan to play as? Plus Explain Why
For me its either Ventrue or Gangrel
Ventrue: The Real Nobles of the Undead, lotta cash, flash suits. The clan also reminds me of Dracula for some reason....
Gangrel: Gangrels are just cool for me, the predator type of clan, awesome unarmed fighters, gotta love em |

| | | Toreador - Good allrounders, can be quite good at fighters, maipulators and rogues.
Malkavian - Just for the fun....
My favourite Clan is missing as a playable Clan of course....Lasombra, the children of shadow....

| | | Tremere so far. They have a sort of...exclusive feel to them. Also, I'm just prone to magey type characters. |

| | | The time we played the tabletop I really enjoyed the Tizmisce and Nosferatu since Im really not into the whole "goth, goth, pain, pain" vampire stereotype or the "woo whoo! I am the matrix" type of play that many brujah and toreador users have (trench coat, katana, mp5's, a 9mm in each hand slightly tilted to the side...)
Creatures like the nosferatu represent the "monster" side of vampires... which I prefer by a lot. |

| | My favorite clan is easily Toreador. I just like their whole philosophy of hedonism. Although its very selfish, an eternity of arts and pleasures doesn't sound all that bad to me.
To LaCroix about the Ventrue reminding you of Dracula: I know this guy isn't really "Dracula" but according to this website http://vampire49.tripod.com/clans/tzimisce.html Vlad Tepes III (the man who inspired Dracula) was a Tzimisce. Just thought that was an interesting discovery. |

| | | Thank you for the info Lucita, my most formable opponent. Having never actually had the chance to play the PnP V:TM, I am a avid player of V:TES/Jyhad from its beginning and have read about 99% of the novels, I have always wondered about Dracula. By his historical description I would have thought he was Lasombra (mainly the no reflection). But being a big Tremere fan, I knew that part of Europe was mostly Tzimisce so it makes since.
My favorite Bloodlines PC of course is the Tremere. But I have been trying all the others. My second game was with a Makavian, lots of fun and laughs. Right now I’m doing a Brujah using Damsel’s skin (trying to play as a Brujah would act).
I hope they come out with an expansion with the Lasombra, Obtenebration would be so fun!!!
FYI: OBTENEBRATION, a discipline used by Lasombra Kindred, The darkness Obtenebration calls forth has substance. It can entangle targets and even inflict damage. It absorbs sounds and scents as well as light. On the other hand, it doesn’t seem to have much if any weight of its own, and it has no substance that any chemical analysis can detect. The shadow-stuff operates by rules unlike those that govern nature. from V:TM Clanbook Lasombra

| | Obtenebration and indeed playing a Lasombra or Tzimisce would be fun, if you could play Bloodlines with a Sabbat Beginning....
Playing an Antitribu of these Clans would be nice too, but of course there are just a few of them Worldwide.
@LaCroix:
Every Vampire/Cainite in Whitewolve's Vampire has a Sire, going back to Caine himself. Caine sired 3 childer ( the 2nd Generation, the 1st is another matter everyone should find out of them by himself, it took me 5 years until I found out who they were ! ), the 2nd Generation sired 13 or more childer ( 13 started the Bloodlines, if there were more, they are quite possible destroyed by now and lost to history ).
@ Talley the Hound:
Ahhh....nice to see one of my Nemesis too....

| | | A Sabbat story would rock!
@ Lucita:
I am pleased that you have decided to come back into the fold Archbishop. My sincere regrets for the loss of your sire and my patron the Cardinal Moncada.
Your Brother in Clan, Templar, Sir Talley a.k.a The Hound

| | | a few of my favorite clans... I've only played as a tremere, a malkavian, and a ventrue. I have to say that out of the three, I enjoyed the malkavian the most for the dialogue options, and obfuscate is just an awesome discipline! I have played a malkavian in the table top/dice version with some friends of mine (two were fey, one was a werewolf, and one was a mage), and I loved it (until the werewolf killed me...). I really love the dominate discipline of the tremere and ventrue though...if I could, I would have a malkavian with obfuscate, dominate, and thumaturgy...that would be awesome, as I would practically be unstoppable...hehehe...and crazy...what a combination...

| | | *Definitely* Malkavian.
Why? 'Cause their dialogue options are *brilliant*. Oh, and I love dementating people ("You are hungry. Your friends are salmon" / "Are you enjoying your maggots?")

| | | I can't imagine a Tzimisce would be much fun to play in bloodlines (sorry to all you blood hungry, frenzied sabbat wannabies) seeing as the younger clan members posses Vicissitude, which really lends itself to role playing rather then point and click...
Now, if you mannaged to capture people and you got a whole new screen where you could click and drag their flesh and bone around to make new, BETTER people... Hmmm *strokes his chin in thought*
Meanwhile, wasn't Vlad killed in the Transilvania chronicles? I remember WANTING to kill him!
As for the clan that dillys my daddle the most? Ventrue! I know the Malkavians also KINDA get to use powers in dialog, but with Ventrue, using it just had a more classy, powerful feel to it. Rather then "Look! Fish!" I loved the feel of "I shall neither wait, nor be seen."... Made ya proud!!
Anyway.. Er.. Strike: Conversation Ends! Pennypincher spends a blood.

| | | Hmmm....don't remember it anymore if Dracula was killed at the end of the Transylvanian Chronicles ( even though I played a role in it ).
Of course, we all met final death by now....
If you all want a glimpse of Gehenna, take a look at the "real" Beckett, Lucita and some others, read the Gehenna: The Final Night novel.
Awesome ending.....
