Elevator Button Bug?

I'm trying to exit the Asylum upper floor after speaking with Jeanette about slashing the Pictures. The problem is that I can no longer get the elevator to work. I can see the button but don't get any picture that will allow me to "e" use it. I have been able to do it in the past before this time.

Is this a bug?

Sounds like a bug... first the stupid questions.

Are you close enough? Yes, I know... it sounds stupid. Still, this has been a problem before in other areas, especially one troublesome door in the Haunted Mansion. Try moving around to look at it from different angles, as much as you can-- crouch, jump, whatnot. MAYBE you'll get that "e" option eventually.

Secondly-- have you reloaded? That conversation isn't too long, I would just reload and redo that. You DO save every 5 minutes, right? I'm not the only one?

Yep, I've tried it from all angles. I've reloaded but not one before the conversation. I'll give that a try.

I reloaded to a save before the conversation and everything is fine now. It must be a bug.

Same thing happened to me - reloading a savegame from upstairs didn't work either, so I had to go back to one from before entering the club. That fixed it.

It seems to be an elevator problem in this game. I have same bug but in skyline apartments downtown. Loading, go out of building, restaring game - dooesn't work. In my case solution is NOCLIP
