| | | Downtown Hospital - How do I continue?****Spoilers**** Ok, maybe Iīm stupid, but I canīt get forward in the downtown hospital.
I got in, talked with the guy, opened a few doors and found the ventilation shaft. As it is, it has a whole, which I canīt seem to plug, even with the metal grate lying on the floor of the room below. I canīt jump over the stack of junk in the hallway ( the second stack of junk ) and I canīt get through that ventilation shaft. Stacking stuff below the ventilation shaft hasnīt worked either. Any ideas what exactly I have to do, to continue?

| | | I'm not behind my own PC at the moment, so I can't check for you to make sure. But the awnser lies in looking a bit further, there are other ways then the ventilation shaft to go deeper into the hospital.
Possible Spoiler.
There is a hole in the wall which you can crawl through to avoid the junk in the halls and there is a hole going down 2 stories with all kinds of construction beams going through the hole. You're a vampire with very keen balance, so you can walk down the construction beams. |

| | | Cmd, you don't need to plug that hole in the ventilation duct. If you have crawled through the duct and fallen through the hole into the next room (and it sounds like you have), you have done the right thing.
I can't precisely remember what you are supposed to do next, but I do know this: there is no way to move that large pile of debris blocking your way. You are going to have to find another way around it, just like you did with the first.
I think at this point you have to break through a wall or weak section in the floor in order to move forward. I believe that this weak spot is located somewhere in the stairwell; moreover, I think it's in the wall under the stairwell.
Crouch and crawl around under the stairs. If the breakable wall/floor is not there, check in the other areas you can access at this point.
Hope this helps! |

| | | talk to WHAT guy?
i went in cuz i was curious, not because of anything anyone told me.
anyway, going in the first time, i haven't run into anyone, cept a dude behind a door, screaming as he gets ripped to peices. then i managed to find the bad "lady" and she told me to meet someone upstairs and do what she tells me to do when i find him. i can't find anyway to get upstairs. the stairs are covered with discarded hospital equipment that i can't "move". and none of the air ducts go anywhere other than every other place i've already visited.
*sighs* i guess i need to reload and replay it after someone asks me to go check it out.

| | | I had the same problem. I searched everywhere for the guy, but he has gone. He's gone back to his apartment and is hiding in the cupboard. So once you talk to the woman, you can just climb up the ventilation shaft in that same room back up to one of the first rooms you go in that has the grate in the floor and leave the hospital. |

| | | Or you use the hole in the floor that goes up to the ground floor, anyway about the guy that's gone.
SPOILER.(Higlight to read) If you have a high perception you will find his bussines card on the ground in the "lounge" where you first meet him. Telling you where he lives. |

| | | hmm, i thought that the guy missing was a bug, and went to proceed killing the crazy kine eating bodies, which I did, and got a quest failure. But now it seams that t'was I who was in failure, the level of complexity of the side quests never stops to amaze me, which is a good thing. What I really like about this game, is that you can't right on from the log in most quests find out excactly where you need to go, and what to do, you actually have to think yourself. In stark contrast to games like, say... Diablo 2, og even perchange bg2 where it was imo far to easy to find out where to go. In addition to the rpg and fps elements, this game also has a lot of adventure game elements.

| | | Thanks guys. I actually found the bloody hole all by myself yesterday, after I went back in, thinking "It *must* be something else!". Thanks, nonetheless.
