best place to get armor?

Having been beat down, shot, stabbed, sliced, diced, clawwed, bit, and fragged in every possible manner I'm thinking it's time I got something besides street clothes for armor. Any suggestions?

Fat larry operates a store out of the back of a truck in downtown. near the parking garage.

Fat larry is west from the Ventrue building. Behind a white truck.
For armor, you can get a better armor from larry, and 1 in the store in the holywood district.

You could also raise your dodgeskill, or take diciplines that help you defend.
And i think there is an item in the hountedhotel that raises your defence.

How far on are you? theres a good place in Hollywood to get armor its the shop...cant remember the name...but Malkavian chics get a little police outfit with handcuffs....lol so cant be bad!
