Autowalk?

Is there a way to set it so that my character walks by default, and only runs when I hold shift, instead of being backwards the way it is now? The run speed is a little too fast for the general walking around in apartments and clubs talking to people that I seem to be doing.

I was looking for that same answer!

It would be more logical to walk by default instead of running and having to press and hold shift all the time!

There is no way I'm aware of to make walking the default, but if speed is the problem, hit Ctrl to go into a crouch and sneak around. It slows you down, and nobody seems to find it odd that you duck-walk everywhere you go.

I have not tried this, but what happens when you set the "walk" button to CAPSLOCK?

Nothing. The CAPS LOCK is a different signal, and the game doesn't recognise it.
