Other animals besides horses

where do you find other animals to ride besides the horses dead and undead....i read that there are other animals that you can ride but i cant find them....

i don't recall where, somewhere south within orc camps, but you can get some kind of horse/lizard looking hybrid, about the same size as a horse. I didn't really like them, personally, and they only seemed to be able to carry about 350 weight worth of items, tops.
