| Is anyone tired of this game getting compared to "Oblivion"? Hi. I put off buying this game for a year because every review I read...and I mean EVERY review...compared it to "Oblivion". I haven't gotten far in the game but other than the interface, I think it deserves to stand alone. I gave up on Oblivion because I didn't enjoy completing quests. I had more fun just looting caves and since Oblivion doesn't grant experience, completing quests is basically for gold, reputation, and maybe an item better than the one you already have. In Two Worlds, it's worth the hike completing a quest if you're just shy of gaining a level and being rewarded that level up sound upon completion. Isn't that the purpose of questing? I think the graphics in Two Worlds also feel less cartoonish than Oblivion. Oblivion did have gorgeous landscapes but the people, especially the elves, had a cartoonish look. I'm sure this topic has been addressed before but I hope other people who have put off buying this game thinking its an Oblivion clone will do otherwise. Thanks. |
