Geforce 8600 GT/system reboot problem

i have recently installed the graphics card known as the geforce 8600 GT Nvidia series, every time i start up two worlds now, i can enter the game and i can get into games and or make them, but soon after the computer will blue screen and reboot, so i can't play the game at all this is very annoying. ive looked around bu t nothing specifically has applied to this, the card came overclocked and ive heard that this can cause problems in the game, but i do not know how to undo that when it comes default. can someone help me with this issue.

hey

well try defaulting you graphics card if that doent work then go to to you nvidia control pannel and customize your card, it sounds like it is conflicting with a program and make sure you have allowed the game through your firewall.

install DX9 and the ageia

I had similar problems on 8800GTS + Vista

the game ran fine through the intro video with sound
and then there was a setup screen
where you choose the character etc
but surprise - no sound and quickly died.

First i didnt install DX9 since Vista is supposedly DX10
so i dont usually install older versions.

However, it seems that at least for me
if i clickt on each of the install items DX9 ran its things
and mostly didnt update much, perhaps only registry items

some physics drivers and video codecs too got added.

After re-boot all runs fine and the sound also works.
