Why isnt specializing worth it ?

I read in almost every post about characterchoises that "multiclassing" have
the most powerfull builds, like Spirit & Nature, Warfare & Storm. But why isnt
specializing in 1 tree, the most rewarding ?.
I have build a char purely based on Spirit and im starting to belive that my
licheking will get pwned hard on Epic / Legendary diff, not to mention that
my pure spirit will provide me with such crappy DPS that i will have problems
killing mobs before i die.

Imo THQ/ Ironlore needs to implement higher tier of skills which gives a chanse
for specialized classes to become more powerfull and more rewarding.

And please, fix the dualwield skill. Increase the 22% to atleast 50%.

hmm

first of all, when youv done one mastery (in case you specialize)
then you can choose a second one that you most preffer..
THE ALL THING ABOUT THIS GAME IS 2X MASTERIES! i spec hunting tho.
also this game is the farest thing from a balanced game.. so if youll use 2 masteries it doesnt say youll be better.. most of the time it is about what masteries you chooze and not how you play =\
about the dual weild, if your really going for that charecter tipe then if youll master all dual skills youll do fine!
its 22% for double hit,13% for hitting 2 mobs,13% for hitting 3 mobs so theres a 48% that somthing will happen.

Are you certain the statistics work like that? If there is a certain hierarchy to the skills it could be.

22% for double.
If that doesn't happen, 13% out of 78% for 2 mobs: 10.1% it will happen
If that doesn't happen, 13% out of 67.9% for 2 mobs: 8.8% it will happen
= 40.8

It's not that big a difference, but i'd just like to know. Sure would like to see this game's code

i fergot to mention..

theres also a 13% for +50% dmg so that come to be more then much that somthing WILL happen..
but when you think about it.. 2 or 3 monsters in one attack are skills thatll be worthless when farming so concider that!
