Which is a better summon for a Bow-Brigand?

What's the better summon for a bow-brigand?
*If "Art of the Hunt" gives "Lay Trap" +XX%Pierce dmg bonuses, is it significant enough to use "Lay Trap" in Legendary Mode?

*If "Flush-Out" lowers enemies' elemental resistances, will Monsters Lure's "Detonate" resinate enough fire damage when it explodes in Legendary Mode?

Anyone have experience with either of these (traps/summons/pets/thing-a-ma-jigs)?

IMO Monster Lure is worthless, as it works as intended less than 10% of the time and the fire damage it deals w/ detonate is trivial at best.

Traps do good damage (piercing) which is enhanced by both Art of the Hunt and Blade Honing (though you can't use Blade Honing with a bow). Traps are especially effective in Legendary against the super bosses Hydra/Talos/Manticore and when the damage of Flurry of Knives becomes so trivial it becomes just a Nightshade/Mandrake applicator.

Blade Honing works for Traps? I thought BH only applied to swords and spears. Doesn't Lay Trap fire arrows? I guess I'll have to get back to playing TQ again and start up my Brigand.
