| | The Best Build. Now that it's out and it's been out for a bit, I'm gonna create a thread just for building your character and tips on builds.
So, without making you wait, on with builds.
Now, from what I've done in the game, I've found one skill to be quite useful for storm users or earth users.
Storm Nimbus and Earth Enchantment, two very useful beginning skills. What they do is they add a type of damage to your weapon, fire OR Ice and lightning. It's pretty decent for beginning to just to get past those beasties in the beginning, as with the amplified damage, you'll kill faster so they don't get in there damage to kill you.
I'd recommend at least two ranks in one at the beginning, the first time you level will give you that.
So, share your builds, I know you all have your preferences on how things go and I know that mine was just for beginning (Sadly, my game crashes and hasn't gotten very far yet).

| | Great Idea !! I just got the game few days ago and already am addicted.
Started out making a Hunter got to lvl 12 then made a Storm/Spirit Mage. Havent run into any crashes luckily just reached Egypt map at lvl 19. So far im doing the same thing ive maxed out Storm Nimbus and have to agree that it really enhances my dmg. I also picked Spirit as my secondary skill to get the early summoned pet Liche King and later raised my Spirit Tree to be able to use Summon Wisp. I now have 2 pets which i use. In some areas i dont like using the Liche King as he is aggro against all monsters and can draw in some really huge crowds hehe. So far, ive really enjoyed the game. I dont really like the "cool down time" on spells, so mainly I've been relying just on Nimbus and a good staff to put down the monsters. Im sure that later on ill have to pick a good primary heavy dmg dealing spell most likely for those future tuff guys coming my way. I hope to see more ideas on this forum, Thanks. |

| | | I'm in the mid 40's level wise......warfare and nature masteries. I wouldn't say it was the best build but if you max out the warfare's Ancestral Horn as well as the nature's Refresh its very very deadly. I can usually get 3 summons per mana potion and with refresh you can keep the ghosts up for you full time. It's pretty much like in Return of the King because they can take down everything easily on epic level so far.
Only class combo I've tried but it does a ton of damage with constant 5 ghosts fighting with/for me. |

| | i have a level 48 soothsayer (nature + spirit). right now i am in a2 legendary. it is almost too easy with this build, most enemies die after 1 or 2 hits.
i use the following skills (all max skillpoints):
nature:
- heart of the oak (about 100% more hp and a little speed bonus)
- call of the wild (pet strength increases along the along the difficulty level)
- strength of the pack (increases damage, armor and speed of my pets and myself)
- refresh (1 point is enough for instant skill recharge)
spirit
- ternion attack (main skill, adds a triple shot to stave attacks, on max skill level elemental %dam modifier will be positive.
- arcane lore (adds aoe dam to ternion attack and increases projectiles speed)
- dark covenant
- unearthly power (geatly increase dam of char and pets)
- death chill aura (reduces enemy speed)
- ravages of time (reduces enemy damage)
- vision of death (1 point, make enemy miss 66% of physical attacks)
gameplay is rather straightforward. heart of the oak and deathchill aura are always active. wolves are always summoned as well. when a boss appears i ll activate dark covenant and cast vision of death (if hes not already dead by then). my only direct offensive skill is ternion attack which is more than enough. i socketed an achilles relic with 65% enemy slowdown for 3 sec in my stave. which seems to work additonaly to my deathchill auras slow effect. |

EDIT: Sorry I made a mistake At level 12/12 it is indeed positive +5%, not -5% ...

| | | Oracle lvl 55 - just beat the boss on legendary (solo).
seek an ice oder lightning staff (icy blabla staff of winter are nice), imbue it with stormenchant and use ternion attack. allmost to easy ^^
with unearthly power, the stormwisp and an speedenchant you get around 3000 dps. the only thing left to say is you die very quickly *g* ive died about 60 times -.-

| | | Actually, I just found out that apparently- Earth and Spirit are the two most horrendously broken masteries if you combine them. I looked this up on a titan quest official forum, and then tried it out.
It starts off weak....around level 8 to 12 it's really hard to survive easily, but when you get to later levels...around 14ish to 18 or so, you GLIDE through the game as if it were nothing.

| | Curious about the Earth/Spirit build ?? Which Mastery did you start off with first??? Sounds like a great build though, never noticed the early stage summon wolf
Presently, been farming some for Mage set items in Giza. Hoping i can pull together a good set outta that pyramid, seems like a perfect spot to find what im hoping will drop.

| | | I started off with Spirit because of the skill Ternion somethin or other.
Ternion, basically it shoots off three bolts at a lesser damage from a staff. That damage actually becomes more damage when you max out the skill. Since you can max out a skill pretty quickly in TQ, it's really easy to just go insane with that.
THEN, once you obtain the earth part, get fireshield. Max that out. As well as the skill that gives you bonuses to damage with a weapon, max that out.
Now, you can basically barrage enemies with three bolts that do slightly more damage each bolt than one normal bolt, with an augmented damage to begin with due to earth, as well as a huge amount of protection from that shield.
Then, once you have all that, get something that life leaches, as with the Ternion that fires three bolts, each of those life leach the same amount, meaning....YOU NEVER DIE!

| | | Observation on Ternion Skill: I have tried the skill and cant seem to get it to fire unless i hotkey it and target monster. Each monster has to be hotkey'd. It doesnt seem to be as fast as just left clicking and using staff's built in elemental dmg for quick easy killing on large groups as they come forward. Single fast shots with no slow down trying to target.
Question: Is there another way to target with Ternion? Perhaps, I'm going about using this skill incorrectly. |

| | | Yeah...just assign it to your left or right click area. there's the 1-9 hot keys, and then right next to it is two single boxes on there own, one with a sword in it. Right click that or the empty box next to it and assign the skill there.

| | I am playing a melee character simply because I think this is the hardest way to go. Warfare and defensive as a combination, and I am finding it difficult but if it's not a challenge then I get bored and won't finish the game. This way I actually use strategy more than anything else. I am lvl 26 and have issues at times but that's why I lug about 200+ health potions
