Hi Snowball,
Zelandas build isn't that overpowered. Wait until you start getting purple items in Legendary and you will find that your character will get very powerful very quickly.
Zelandas, you are correct in trying to look for Ares war helm and conquerors gauntlets. Both are very good and will add to your DPS a fair amount. However also consider the Fiery Legion set. They are of higher level but they also add nice stats to that of Conqueror classes.
Your other items sound good and as a comparison to what my 62nd level
Dream/Warfare dual wield fella he wears:
Ares war helm
Athenas boots
Achilles armour
Conquerors gauntlets (from Alexanders set)
Pendant of Immortal Rage
Kiss of the Maiden (I think its called that) artifact
1 x green ring that adds to strength and reliced with damage reduction relic
1 x Gaias ring (purple)
2 x Green weapons - both reliced with Achilles relics (+ damage % and + speed %)
weapon switch = 2 x Persephone Caresses (+ 100 life regen a second)
DPS 7000+ (exc. % from onslaught build up - potential to hit 12,000+)
Now these items I have found doing multiple item finds from Legendary Typhon and Hades....
I would recommend this as a very strong build also.
Another that I am working on and is a very good build also is
spear/shield wielding Hunter/Rogue.
At the point where I have hit 60th level also and am doing 7000+ dps currently (majority of it piercing damage).
Thirdly, a
Spirit/Warfare character can also be quite a good build. I would consider this more of a safe build than anything but does the trick none the less. My current one is 65th level,
Folg/shield (has Lich King as pet and can throw out a maxed Outsider and maxed Ancestors when needed) dps 3000+ (but the maxed death chill aura tends to make this amount easily enough against baddies).
So there you go 3 types that I have found very good and reliable.
