Im sure this has been asked, and Ill admit to being lazy,  But is the area of where you are farming going to determine what set pieces you have a chance of getting? I.E, I have only seen obsedian drop near the end of greece, jade dropped in the orient, ramas gauntlets drop in the valley of the kings. Looking for some sort of confirmation of where I should go for farming. Im in Olympus, but getting my butt handed to me because Im only level 34 and the gear I have is kinda weak. Also, whats the best set for a Hunter / Earth combo? |

If you get yer butt handed to you by him on normal, then there is something seriously wrong, what are yer stats and equipment with stats??
And for the rest, farming is best done with the big bosses, like all 3 telkines and typhon himself ofcourse.
If Typhon is still too hard, try knossos runs, mark the last waypoint nearest the bull, and start farming, everytime you'll start close to the bull, and the 1st telkine, I've found some nice stuffs there.

most of the set items and greens are planted in the areas they have the strongest conection to the "troy" set can be found in greece and the "paroh" set is in ejept~
hunter+eart? depends on what weaopns you use and skills you work on, if you use a bow then you should go for "hunter's set" and for eart i have a "fire walker" but its an epic set and there is a legendery set for earthers also. |

| | | I mostly go bow, only use earth for the fire buff on weapons and the elemental pet, although he's starting to be fairly useless, mainly because I haven't focused on Earth much. What is the hunters set? What's it called and what's the best place to find it? |

The Earth Enchantment has an aura radius of 6m...and if your using Bow...you might be out of reach from your summons to recieve your Enchant Aura.
On topic:
Yeah, just stick to your history lessons...and you'll match up the sets to the right regions/acts of the game. At least that seems to be the correlation of matching sets with regions of the game.

| | Excellent, thanks for the links, I know where Ill be going soon. Just gotten remember who and what and wear to fight that has the large majestic chests. Course I just noticed that the trackers stuff is all legendary, which means I gotta beat normal, because as of yet, Ive yet to get a legendary drop.

| | | I suggest that when yer on epic and you reach knossos, you stay there to farm a bit.
The minotaur and telkine have some very nice drops on epic, I found lotsa legendary stuff there and when yer on that low a level, the way from the closest waypoint to the minotaur will get you nice exp if you run that every time.
When I do that run, if I kill everything on the way to the minotaur, it takes me about 6 to 7 minutes to walk through it and include killing the 2 bosses |

Knossos- 1st Telkin/ Boss-Minotaur (legendary minotaur is too hard for my DW-Battlemage to continously to farmings on).
Fayum- Boss-Scorpion King / Hero-Demon-Rider
Egypt Temple- 2nd Telkin
Orient Changalan- Boss-Wizard dude with those green statue beings
Olympus- Typhon
I've probably done the most runs on Epic Knossos versus the Minotaur and 1st Telkin. Seems to be the easiest to obtain blues (lv31-36) and purples (lv35-39).
It's strange sometimes I'll get a bunch of everything (epic's and legendary's) within a half hour...and then nothing at all for the next 5-6 hours. I hated the MF from Diablo 2, but dang...getting nothing for hours is a real drag in TQ.
I've done farming in Legendary against the Undead since I have a unique torso with +60% damage to Undead, and I still basically get the same equipment that I would get in Knossos Epic. Occassionally, I get low level 40 Legendary pieces. I got "The Furies" Axe in Legendary Fayum Egypt.
I've found dozens of the Apple Bearer's set right above Ambrosa where the Spider Queen precides. Lots of pieces of these sets repeat themselves to me and that gets rather annoying...as I would like to see something new for a change after farming for hours.
I've noticed some uniques like the Bone set are found by defeating the undead (how original). But most pieces can be found randomly or from doing Telkin/Minor Bosses/Typhon runs.
I go in farming with both high hopes and low expectations...a sick combination, but after doing this over and over you come to expect everything. I like getting nothing on every 2-3 farm trips, but it gets overly sick when I make about 100 runs and get absolutely no blues or purples.

I play TQ a lot and none of my builds ever get a complete set of anything. I don't like it when duplicate items drop, or when I am playing, say, a Conqueror and the Necromancer's Staff drops. I loved Diablo's "improved chance of getting magical items" equipment.
