Respawn

Every ime I close the game and then restart all the areas I had previously cleared respawn. Is this supposed to happen? is anyone suffering from occasional lockups where the screen goes blank but the bakground sound continues, or is this just mt laptop?

Yep, like diablo two, monsters come back after a shutdown.

Well, you can try the solution I posted back at this thread but its not really 100% effective. It did work on some systems but at other times, it will not.

If you finish the game near a Rebirth Fountain, that's where you'll start...which would mean that you'd avoid having to travel through a lot of land you previously covered.
On the other hand, you do get more experience if you go through the same land and kill the monsters again.

You can also re-fight bosses and re-loot chests, making some parts of the game (like the early centaur boss battle) fairly profitable.

Has anyone else experienced a respawn while just doing a loot sale? At least 2 times that I remember, I TPed to sell off loot only to go back and be in the middle of a new spawn. Was only as bad as a few skeles and a frost liche, but that can be bad news other times.
