Leveling up...?

Hi. I've been playing TQ for a good two or three months now and have finally managed to make it to Typhoon but can't seem to get a single hit on him before he obliterates me. I have a level 33 Conjuror that I have been using since the beginning but it looks to me like that's not a high enough level to defeat him (based on everything that I have read here). How in the world how do I get my character to that level if I am already at the final boss? The only thing I can think of is to go back and play levels that I've already solved (and solve them again?) I mean I can see how you could get other pieces of armor and other things that you may have not gotten the first time through and definitely see how you would gain more levels but... I also see how people are creating other characters and starting over while half way through a quest the first time through (normal) with another character! It almost seems like they've found a way to transfer inventory items between characters? Now that would be cool. How much of this game am I missing as I am one of those linear players ?

Thanks.

Jon

Yeah, basically farm some baddies from the Orient (Farming = killing them for gold/equipment).

Also, they do have a way to transfer items from one character to another. TQ Vault does this for regular TQ, and the expansion pack Immortal Throne has this feature built into the game. Though, IMO, it's really cheap to use the transfer system from one character to another because it's basically a tool to make the game less challenging.
