Level cap?

Well what is the level cap? I got this game for christmas. And btw how can i update the base game to the immortal throne? I have them both installed, but nothing that the manual said has happened, so i guess it hasnt been updated. So those are my two questions this time.

The level cap for TQ is 65 and TQIT 75. In order to get TQIT u need to simply buy it.

If you have Immortal Throne, then it's fully updated. As for updating itself, there's an Update button in the game that'll do it all for you so long as you have an internet connection. Just click it maybe once a month, once every two months or so, and you should be good.

But that is the whole problem! I have them both as separate launchers, and IT doesnt do anything... IT just says that it has to update the basic game and then throws me to desktop. I tried playing the basic game to see if it has done anything, but no, nothing had happened. And i made a new char each time, when i tried the base and when the IT. Should i reinstall them? And btw i got a new computer with vista(of course) if that has anything to do with these problems.

Have you updated the basic game manually? Like, go into the main screen of the basic game and click update, and let it download every single patch. Then try to play IT.

Main screen? main menu? I didnt see anthing there... Or like the launcher screen in kotors and nwns? If there is one i have missed it... When i press the shortcut it takes me straight to the game... But ill look for an updater from the files, i think i could have seen one there...

Ok i found it and got it working. Im now a level 16 harbinger.
