Help! There's some problem with the game I can't seem to fix!

Sometimes the yellow markers over a questcharacter disappears and your stuck in the game. To undo this go to documents and find:

My Games\Titan Quest\SaveData\Main\ (Name of your character) \Levels_World_World01.map\Normal

Here you find alot of *.que files. Find the newest one and delete it (If it dosen't help try the second latest to). Start game again...

Maybe you have to start the quest again or at least play the last part of it again (never had to myself though). Remeber to talk to quest characters if needed. I know it's a bit tricky, but better than to start from scratch with the game...

Yes, my friend, I have had similar problems and have not been able to get help from THQ...seems they got the money and the rest is easy.

Here is MY dilema:

I played TQ all the way through AND killed not only Telfon <?> but a Telekine that was end the room with him. I heard the dialogue about "being a real hero" and all and was asked if I wished to step through the portal. HELL YEAH!! The credits ran and all. Finally I win. Yeah, right.

I load up TQII and do the import as required. Guess what? I am now back in Helos as a 32 Soothsayer. Some of what was to be in TQ2 did, in fact show up but I was in Helos just as if I had begun the game. The "towns" seemed closer together and I thought it was just a preview but no luck.

Have also noted that I am SEVERELY weakened and this game is fast becomiing a pain rather than the pleasure I usually get from gaming. I went back to TQ and am trying to once again kill the Telphon to see if it would straighten itself out. Most of the critters on the way to Olympus I felled with one or two shots.......now even a lowly skeleton can make me take a dirt nap. At least if would have been nice if they had put a fountain closer to the pit....takes five minutes to get there....then BANG!! you're dead and you start over. It looks like my staff and magic are just not doing anything at all. Even my Liche.....at Olympus the first round he was kicking Tephon's butt...but now he takes one shot turns to black ashes and falls. I just don't get it.

I wrote to THQ for help....but guess that is not to be. I imported like they said but I note there is also an EXTRA player named David. Where the hell did HE come from? That's my name but it was never used as a character name. I have uninstalled TQII three times hoping something would catch but I bring up TQII and I am in the Lower Camp of Sparta.

Any thoughts, folks?? Other than shoot myself, I would welcome any ideas and will try, in exchange to be as helpful here as I can be. Not much for an old fogie like me to do in RL except sit in my wheelchair......enjoyed TQ until this started up. I killed him.....saw him fall and got all of the other goodies yet I was not "promoted".
