can't kill 3rd telkine (SPOILER)

My character has level 28 and i've been smashing en bashing into the 3rd telkine but he doesn't reduces hp

Kill the fire demons as soon as they appear. They leech life back to the telkine.

dont think so, cuz i can kill all mobs around with my brigand - bt trouble is, that i am not doing any damage, tried it 20minutes in line... and telkine was like 100% imune to my attacks, cuz i never did him any dmg - so they couldnt life leech, there wasnt any lost hp

and i killed him once before, with my conjurer, but dunn wth is that?
i saw my friend with same trouble - he dropped jade figurine and then smashed him, but still stupid (and i said in another thread - i cant get jade figurine, there are only spiders and chest with some trash)

1st time I met the 3rd telkine with my lvl 27 conquerer, I killed him in like less then a minute.

In collosusform with shield charge he was done for in no-time, and indeed, don't forget to kill those fire thingies.

Typhon took me a little longer, but he was also dead in less then 3 minutes.
But that's with a little help from my ancestral warriors, 4 of them, doing 100-109 damage.

omg thats all great, but read it again and then try reply with something usefull....
i killed it with conjurer etc (and it was faster than your concq...), but my brigand is only taking dmg, running around, shooting fire sprites and eating coockies and drinking pots - still all sprites are dead and em not taking dmg

i took telkine out from his lair - to right side, so he coulndt go closer, so i shooted 1 minute to him without interuption and no sprite in my sight, still same .... and nothing happend

its became lil boring
about life leech through sprites - it seems like nonsence - cuz point is, that i DIDNT hurt him!!!!!! so he doesnt need heal/life leech, but ok, in case that he is doing this and that nonsence, i am doing seriously poison/pierce/bleeding dmg, so i think i will smash him lil later, but main trouble is hurt him...

well, I didn't mean to threadcrap or anything, I was kinda trying to point out that maybe it's more likely to get hurt with physical damage. shoulda pointed that out more clearly, sorry bout that.

how much damage does yer magic do?? and how much physical damage can you do??

Get the 1.20 patch it's fixes that bug. It might also screw your character because of the balancing

The patch (1.20) fixes it. Apparently if you don't enter into the arena quickly enough on the old patch (1.15)then the Telkine is invincible and can not be brought down no matter how much damage you inflict.

I had the same problem. I bum rushed the Telkine while Typhon was still in chains. I couldn't damage him. I got killed, came back, Typhon was gone and the Telkine was too after I finished with him.

so what yer saying is ya got to the telkine before he could free Typhon?? I'd like to know how ya did that, seeing as he frees Typhon the moment ya take like 5 steps on that ledge.
And as far as I know there is no teleporting skill in Titan quest, or is there??

Had the same problem with the second one of my characters to make it that far (I have version 1.15). I was swinging for 400+ DPS and literally no damage to the Telkine. I fixed it by going back to Chang'an and talking to Faiyan (I think), who had a yellow exclamation point over her head. Went back and finished the deed. (I think the problem come up because on the second time through, I stopped talking to the characters if the quest seemed to be done.) Hope that works.
