Best gear

Now that the game has been out for a few months does anyone have favorite items that they have found. I'm thinking of best shields, best armor, necklace, sword, etc. i realize that the best gear may depend upon the character so perhaps the gear could be broken down to melee and caster characters. For example, I personally think that Aphrodites Favor is the best pendant in the game. But others may have idffering opinions.

I am currently still in Egypt, so I don't know what the very best items are, but I found the Fell Blade before taking on the Gorgons, briarwall the shield, a Ritual necklace, a ring that bestows something like 20% poison damage, an Oath Ring, and some armor. I don't have all the stats on these things before me, but they are loaded with atributes. I always like finding a blue item.

i've noticed a lot of melee characters use Pagops swords. They aer distinctive since they have yellow and blue bands down the length. I haven't found one yet to try our. I did find a thunderbolt which has great lightening damage and worked fine on my Slayer. Then I came across a Furies Axe which deals out a lot more damage-so i am sticking with it as my character edges closer to level 50.
I've also outfitted the melee character with a complete tarturus set. Awesome specs for going against Telkines.
For my caster (soothsayer-level 61) i did a lot of farming and found some Overlords armor. I like the +2 to all skills. Found a few staves. Prefer tthe Hecate's for +2 to spirit skills. I can really buff up my pet lych king.

It's right that you see all kinds of people running around with the pagos and furies, it wasn't the right weapon for me though.
Try out Thorny Maul instead(http://www.gamebanshee.com/titanques...legendary.php).
The thing moast guys look at is the dmg, speed and elemental addons, but if u look closer, this thing has 100% piercing. The Pagos on the other hand has 10%, and the Furies.. none...
Combined with the Pendant of Imortal rage this thing( or things, using two of them in dual wield) takes me to a dps of 5000 on a lvl 54 Battlemage, 6500 if u add Earth enchantment. Pagos and Furies combined gave me a lousy dps of 2600.

Try it out if u have a char that can manage it.

I'm playing on epic at the moment, and I'm nearing Delphi. I pounded the ogre into oblivion, he was real easy.

Also found my 1st legendary weapon, the Sword of Damocles, isn't all that it's cracked up to be.
I have a samurai like sword which I found on normal mode, I enchanted it with some relic which adds poison damage, forgot which one.

With that I have 177% attack speed and average damage is 310dps, and every other sword I found till now gave me 150% AS and 240dps at max, so I'm kinda waiting for something nice.
