A few questions

Ok so I've been looking around these forums and cant seem to find anything to answer a couple of my questions that have been bothering me.

First off Is there any way to increase the distortion wave damage other then with putting points in to it. I have it maxed in all areas.

Second. The lucid dream ability does that give you extra damage on your spells and your attacks?

What does Vitality damage do? How does it work. Is it like life leech that just goes straight to your health? Or is it just straight damage to them?

That is all i can remember at this moment Ill ask other late probably.

Oh yeah Whats the fastest anyone has soloed normal TQ including IT? So far im on 21 hours and so close to completing. And don't tell me a few minutes. Im talking from start to finish from a first level char

Shrine of Mastery or items that boost it's level. Otherwise, no real way to do that.

Yes, both attacks that have electric burn or vitality damage and spells that do the same get boosted.

It's a mere damage type that goes directly to HP. So whereas if you attacked a creature dealing 50 points of damage with an axe, there would be resistances because of armor and stuff. But Vitality damage does an immediate 50 damage to health and most monsters won't have any resistance to it whatsoever.

Undead are the only real problem with vitality damage users.

For me, 13 hours. Spirit/Storm build with a staff weapon, and a bunch of armor and rings and crap that added bonuses to my attack speed. As well as a single amulet that had a 30% bonus to energy and a charm that added even more. The wisp creature went in to die for me while I literally stormed my way through everything.

This is 13 hours time, not 13 hours game time though simply because of faulty programming, lag happened quite frequently and if we were to count that in, it'd be more like 18.

I always thought vitality damage went to my health? I haven't noticed it happening I guess so Siberys is probably right.

You can increase dist wave electrical burn damage with items that increase elec burn. I'm not sure if an item with %damage also does or if thats just melee damage?

Thats health drain / Life stealing.

Spirit has an attack that does vitality damage while doing a % life steal.
Thats probably the source of the confusion....

Oh yeah there is one that has been bugging me for a while now. Under some spells it says 30% energy drain then in ( ) it says something about like 40% energy drain causes damage.

Example the temporal rift ability it says "15% Energy Drained (45% Energy Drained Causes Damage)"

What does that mean. If i can get something to do that much energy drain it will start to do damage? Or if i get them down to that % of energy it will start doing damage?

I dont really understand what they mean by that.

If you have 30% energy drain that means it drains 30% of their energy. So if they have 100 mana it drains 30 points of mana. The next hit would drain 30% of 70 mana (do the math).

damage means for the mana you drain (eg 30 points) a certain percentage deals damage (so if 200% deals damage then you deal 60 points of damage if you drain 30 mana).

Its a really good ability to use on a boss since they have a lot of mana. With the added benefit is you can drain ALL there mana so they stop using special abilities.
