Which is more fun?

    Hey guys im checking out if for you what is more fun? the dungeon based game or an open world?and can you guys give some game names so I can able to play it Im quite bored on my room hahaha Btw thanks

    deepends on the kinda games ur into dungeon based game are u on about D&D games? if so baulders gate is a good game and icewind dale ofc :p and open world hmm *clicks* oh morrowind and oblivion and skyrim but tbh a gamer like me dnt isnt relli fused on wat i play aslong as it catches my attention

    Both have appeal, though if I absolutely had to choose between the two then Open World.

    Though really, there are too many variables in a game for it to determine that one is simply better than the other.

    I like being able to explore the world, but if there's pretty much nothing to do then it's wasted.

    I love dungeon crawlers like Icewind Dale, provided they have enough variety. The big advantage of an open world game is that you can choose what to do, where to go, and when, which means they tend to be much less monotonous, at least for a little while.

    Still, for games with a combat focus I think the tighter design that dungeon crawling provides cannot really be matched by any open-world title, especially as the quality of design on a micro level tends to go down as games get bigger.
