I'm trying to get a definitive answer without installing BG or BG2 -ToB, yes i could just install them and try the console codes and if no one knows I'll do that this week. Over at the long time web-sight planet Baldur's Gate PlanetBaldursGate - A Member of the GameSpy Network it states "At 10th level, thieves' gain the limited ability to use clerical and magical scrolls." So what I'm asking is this true? Yes i realize that the UIA-HLA will let you use them but i want to know if at lvl 10 thieves can cast mage scrolls. Thanks to anyone who can test this for me.
replying to my own post in case someone can benefit from the findings. It appears this was not incorporated into the game. Only through the UAI ability can a thief use mage scrolls. Too bad would of made a fun variant at lvl 10 instead.
