I'm playing 1.5 version on Win7. Problem is simple. No summon spell works. Nothing appears after I summon. Not from scrolls, item invokes, nether spells, celestial spells. There's always the hand movement and then ... nothing. Even with 10 points in the respective spell schools. I'm slowly pulling all my hair out. Am I overlooking something extremely simple? I hope somebody will put me out of my misery.
You have to have enough nether points. It cannot be arcane, celestial, or rune. Try summoning rat with 1 pt, at least, of netber. See if that works. Summon Giant needs 7 or 8. For divine intervention to summon an angel you need 9 celestial magic. By the way see my summon rat thread. Summon rat is a great spell early on in the game.
