Am I the only one having issues with origins, the download client for EA?

I've never been able to install DA2 and am still having problems after buying Reckoning this past week.

For whatever reason I can log in to the Origins website but the client application will not log in. I get an error about the ID, Password or E-mail being incorrect...but it's the same login for the website which works fine.

After calling India for help they told me during my DA2 calls that I'd have to reformat my hard drive that obviously it was an error in my PC recognizing the client. Too bad I've installed games that use Steam and other games that don't use anything. Games since DA2 that I've installed:

    Rift
    SW:TOR
Various text based games (Greydog Software, Wolverine Studios, etc)

So the ONLY games I've been unable to install and play are EA games that utilize Origins.

Anyone else? Suggestions or ideas that India didn't come up with? (Not to mention I've been waiting three days for an e-mail since the initial call escalated my issue.)

I usually don't have trouble with Origin for the most part, but I can't launch ME2 from Origin. It downloads and installs, but if I want to run the game I have to do so from the executable itself, or a self-made shortcut pointing to that executable. It's the only game that has given me any trouble in Origin so far. I had the same problem on two different systems, and one of those systems had run Windows XP and beta version of Windows 7 at different times. I'm currently running 32 bit Windows XP. With Amalur all I have in Origin is the demo. My advice would be to try a couple of demos and see if they give you problems as well. Since you have SWtoR you could try that as well, but it seems like a hassle to reinstall all of that just to see if this is limited to ME2 and Amalur or not.

For completeness sake a full list of what I have in Origin...
    Batman: Arkham City
Dragon Age: Origins Digital Deluxe Edition
    Dragon Age: Awakening
    Hellgate: London
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning - Demo
    Mass Effect Pinnacle Station
Mass Effect 2 Digital Deluxe Edition
    Mass Effect 3 N7 Collector's Edition
    SWtoR Digital Deluxe Edition
