Is there a fix for the bug which prevents non-warriors from gaining extra attacks from weapon proficiencies? Like the Swashbuckler not getting an 1/2 attack from being Specialised in a weapon?

Nope. As far as I can remember it's an engine limitation and cannot be worked around.

Bg:ee will not change it, devs consider it a design decision.

Hhhmmm. Sounds like "It's not a bug, it's a feature" copout, really. Anyway, Shadowkeeper to the rescue!
