New Lightsaber Colors

well from what i've heard, it's true that you can change his saber colour and even the outfit. but i think the general idea was to get people who don't do more in-depth reading about the game to believe that he's a Sith and always will be. if he were shown with anything other than red (well, maybe violet), most people would assume him to be a Jedi, not Vader's apprentice.

NOW can we return to K3 commenting? that is, after all, what this thread is about. don't get me wrong, i think TFU will be awesome. this just isn't the place to discuss it

everyone black saber is true its been put into the force unleashed and it looks pretty dam awsome so if you believed a black saber would never come you are wrong and for those who did want one ... our prayers have been answered :angel:

If we are going to be getting technical on what is allowed, we're going to have to also consider the plausibility of thousands of different races being able to create telekinetically disciplined people who can weild swords constructed of light against others like them who wield lightning and ray guns.

There's quite a few on that list which show up as the same colour, really, such as the Qizoni and the deep red colours.

I would love to see the return of the previous colours, in addition to ones which grow more vibrantly. Mostly, I just want the effect of a glowing lightsaber to be more enhanced in dark rooms rather than have a load of colours to chose from!

The Jedi collected crystals of varying types and hues from natural deposits, whereas the Sith made use of fabricated synth-crystals usually designed to emanate shades of red. After the purges of the Old Republic's Jedi order, synth-crystals were also shaped and used by Jedi on occasion. Luke Skywalker's green blade and Jaina Solo's violet blade both sprang from synth-crystals.

Prior to the final battle of Ruusan, ancient Jedi wielded blades of every color and hue. Some of the more common colors were orange, yellow, cyan, blue, green, viridian, violet, silver, and gold. Some ancient Jedi, such as Sylvar, even wielded blades of red hues, although the order typically avoided any colors that might associate them with the Sith. Red was also avoided since it was the most common representation of blood and violence. After the terrifying end of the Ruusan conflict, however, Jedi turned to more common Adegan crystals of blue or green coloration. Other colors, like bronze and brown, did still exist, but were extremely rare. Mace Windu, for example, braved the terrors of Hurikane to find his violet crystal. Black lightsaber crystals were also known to exist, but were almost non-existent.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think there is no black light. If there is no black light, there can't be a blade made of black light. There can be black crystal, but it would be practicaly useless, since it wouldn't let trough much light, and the color of blade would be white, but much weaker then with white crystal.

correct me if im wrong but this is a science fiction franchise in which people can shoot lightning from there hands and can destroy worlds by using some magical energy that floats around in your bloodstream, hence i dont really think that this whole black light cant exsist, and if you cant acept there is a black lightsaber, lets just call it a voidsaber (sounds kooler anyway)

im only 13 but i can see that george lucas needs to put more black lightsabers into his games.since its already been done he needs to put more.until the idea is accepted that there were black sabers.then eventually maybe into the canon movies.the VII VIII and IX movies i mean.:

Slightly off topic: I saw this thread on the front page, and decided to see what it was about, as 21 pages on lightsaber color seemed a bit excessive to me. I glanced at the first page, and then clicked to the last to see what the discussion was like.

Note that this is not meant as an insult or anything, I just found it funny. The first page had a lot of talk about black lightsabers, and the first post I happened to glance at on the 21st page was about black lightsabers as well. I cracked up, and I just thought I'd share.

No, he said he was going to, but stepped off of that plan. He is going to ruin the 6 star wars movies by putting them in 3D, unless you mean that. I thought you ment 3 movies that continued from movie 6.
George Lucas is milking out every drop of a once great trilogy (not that great, but still great).
