1) Khalid: Bioware said that he would be the focus of some quests, but as far as I know, he's just dead. 2) Jaheira: she is somehow flirting with my player character!! I do want to keep her in my party, but um... not like this. BTW, are there any other characters that may try and get romantic?

SPOILER Okay, I hope if you don't want to read this, you don't do so right now. Anyway, when you take Jaheira along with you through the prison area of Irenicus, you'll stumble upon a corpse somewhere ... and Jaheira will recognize it as the body of Khalid. Seems he's dead, right from the start. As for romantic encounters, for Male characters there are three possibilities, as it would seem: - Jaheira - Aerie - Viconia For Female characters there appears to be only one: Anomen. But I find his character more annoying than pleasing - I'm playing a Priestess of Lathander by the way. He seeks a guiding light, not a lover.
Yeah Maurice, Anomen is the only guy that will try and pick up on your main character if you play a female lead, and he's REALLY bad at it too. I guess the tip-off should've been the fact that he's hanging out in a place with a brothel in the back, and he's in front looking for "adventure". Turn around, you fool! Damn good alignments.
