Well, since I didn't bring Aerie for the journey through Spellhold and the Underdark, I was intending to bring her along for that part on my next character, instead. However, for my new character, I was also intending to romance Jaheria, and I have read that Aerie and she wont get along if you do? So, assuming this conflict only happens if you're romancing them both (since they get along very well when I play a female character), would it be possible to terminate the romance with Aerie (in a lenient way) and still keep her around when you are romancing Jaheira? Since I've (obviously) never done this before, I ask that you do not spoil anything.
The best way to keep Aerie and Jaheira happy with each other if you want then both in your party, but only romance Jaheira is to deflect Aerie onto Haer-Dalis. You do not need to have Haer-Dalis always accompany, but just enough to get him to flirt with Aerie.
I see, but, I've spent some time reading through the character interactions on another site (http://www.bigorrin.org/amn8.htm), and, from this material it seems this conflict should only happen if you are romancing Aerie.. I could be wrong, but, are you telling me I can't simply gracefully decline her invitations (like you can do with Anomen, for example)? See, I found the few interactions between Jaheria and Aerie quite charming (They seemed to become quite fond of eachother) and it would be strange to have them at odds with eachother... Do I need to have started the romance with Aerie for Haer'dalis to become interested in her or does that happen anyway? Anyways, thanks a bunch!
From what I know, every romance option can be let down gently and without the person in question storming out, if you go the right way about it. Haven't really tried it out, though, but I distinctly remember people saying that.

Aerie and Jaheira get alone very fine with zero problems. They have a cat fight( its hilarious, even more if Viconia is ALSO there) but they wont actually fight to the death or anything. Just a verbal fight. And now im sad for some reason.
