Jaheira Romance Walkthrough (MAJOR spoilers) ...

14. Sleep (Wild) Bandits appear and take Jaheira hostage. After which Meronia appears and tells Jaheira to follow her. Jaheira leaves the party.

I'm stuck there somehow. I slept, and moved right away form my original position. The bandits followed me, but two were already out of sight. I killed three, not knowing there were more. After the battle I spoke with Jaheira, who was angry with me for taking an arrow. She needed to rest.

I completed the Keep, and returned to the same area, only to find the two bandits I missed out on. After I killed the remaining two, the battle-aftermath dialogue of 14 was triggered again. This time Jaheira wouldn't say anything.

I did not see any Meronia either. Jaheira is still in my party. A bit of time has passed and nothing new happened.

What should I do?

I'm drawing a blank here. One source on Sorcerers.net, but that site has been down awhile. Is it at least possible to reset the romance quest somehow?

What happens if you set the Jaheriaromance counter down to 1?
IIRC it is the counter for next event in the romance.

Nothing really. I get the "what were you THINKING!!?" dialogue again, despite lovetalk being at a prior setting.

I noticed that because I tried to copy the romance values (both lovetalk and the other globals) from an uncorrupted, earlier savegame. Despite my changes, I'm still stuck in that dialogue.

I'm thinking there must be another value somewhere, but I can't find it.

I think it is lovetalk, but iirc if you call it up through the clua console you have to have your pointer over the character you want it for. This could mean it is a value of Jaheira not of yourself. Hope it helps.

Found it. There is a separate value called 'banditattack'. Not jaheirabanditattack or something similar, just banditattack. I doesn't stand out, so I didn't notice it.

It doesn't get created immediately in a new game, so I figured it had to be deleted for the game to ignore it. It worked, and it's like falling in love all over again. Literally.

I hope I can still finish the romance before I finish the game. =/

Ah, never mind. It seems to have caused a different problem, now I am stuck at yet an earlier stage.

Tricky, I recently was in that situation and chose the option to give all my valuable goods to the bandits. While I did that, Jaheira breaks loose of the bandit and I killed them all (and of course got my money back). I don't know if I triggered the romance there or not, I checked this thread a well but couldn't figure it out. Later Aerie romanced me instead of Jaheira. To me that's a bit a mystery, through the dialogue options I *thought* I triggered Jaheira's romance. Anyone knows what happened?

Manveru's patch was actually put into the official Throne of Bhaal patch. Assuming you have the expansion, just install the official patch.

If for some reason you don't, you can always get the SoA-only Gibberlings 3 fixpack, which I believe has the fix as well.

Question:

Can Terminsel appear before you leave the Underdark??

The first time I beat the game, Jaheira received her Harper Pin just outside of the Underdark. In fact, Terminsel appeared in the same clearing where Drizzt and his companions confronted me.

So...again, is it actually possible to get her Harper Pin as early as chapter 2?

You have evidence, but ti's not a fact. Or proof. Someone else said that it worked.

Perhaps it is a patch you need or don't need? Have you tried reinstalling ToB?

Hey everyone, I'm a long time reader but first time poster. I've been reading all these Jaheira Romance threads, and they've helped me so far with the whole Dermin bug, I had to uninstall ToB. It worked and Dermin appeared as soon as I loaded my game. I then went and got Jaheira back, then slept and killed Dermin when he appeared. Next dialogue I got was the dawning of a new day thing. Nothing more has happened. I've tried to do the Console command where you set the timer to 1 so the next dialogue pops up [CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("JaheiraRomance","GLOBALS",1)] yet the next dialogue doesn't pop up, Ive also tried sleeping. My Lovetalk is at 56 I believe. Also, this could be it, I'm in chapter 7. Ive seen alot of ppl say that you cant progress in chapter 7, yet ive seen alot to deny that as well. The Dermin's 2 and last appearance, Terminsel carrying Jaheira's note, and the Dawning of a new day dialogue have all happened in this chapter as well. I've read through countless walkthroughs and threads and my head has near exploded with this damn romance. Can anyone help me out?

Sorry to double post guys, but I was able to force the romance forward with alot of console commands finally. Everything has gone through, thanks with the help from all the walkthroughs.

I got the harper pin at chapter 2

Ok, so i started a new BG2 SoA game and decided i'd start a jaheria romance but i got stuck after step 7 on the walkthrough. I paused the game, waited for a couple hours, came back, and nothing happened.

Below is step 8-
Pause: 'Blast, our progress is not as it could be, I am sure.'

That is the next part of the romance that was supposed to happen but it didnt I am still in chapter 2 by the way, and if this means anything, i bought jaheria the keepsake locket.

Help would be appreciated
